The Arrotini Association was founded in 1970. Almost all the Members came from the Rendena Valley in the Trentino region of Northern Italy, hence the connection with the Trentini Association.

We are one of the oldest Associations in the Italian Community and although small in size we have always been very much involved in Community affairs. Many ventures have seen us as pioneers on behalf of our Members.

The Arrotini have participated in all the OGI Games to date: winning in 1982, second on two occasions, winners of the Les Rickard trophy and the Sportsmanship Trophy on several occasions. A fine record of which we are extremely proud.

Our contribution to the OGI has been legendary, having the Presidency for four years and masterminding the computerisation of the games - No mean feat.
