One of the first OGI teams to participate back in 1980, The Arrotini Team successfully won medals for 20 years until the team reluctantly withdrew.  We are happy to say we are back and raring to go!  The next generation of Arrotini are now ready!

Now that Dino Ferrari has daughters, nieces and cousins that are of competing age, he decided to reform the team and get other members of the London Grinders’ Association and the Trentini nel Mondo to get involved.  Many of our athlete’s parents took part in the OGI many moons ago and are happy to continue the May Bank Holiday tradition of cheering on all the youngsters, regardless of their team or ability.

We were always the smallest team, but historically have been lucky to have had quality over quantity with regards to our athletes.  We have won the Sportsmanship Award 3 times, the Les Rickard Trophy 3 times and won overall in the 2 nd OGI back in 1982.

We are based in SE London and would welcome any local young Italians to join us in celebrating sport and being Italian!  Please get in touch if you are interested.
